BargainBin.net was founded in 2009 by two former electronics-distribution guys working out of a rented corner of a freight warehouse in Edison, New Jersey, with one idea: manufacturers and big-box stores are sitting on mountains of perfectly good overstock, closeouts, open-box returns and factory-refurbished gear — and somebody should sell it to real people at real discounts.
Today we ship out of a 140,000 sq ft facility (same town, much bigger corner) and have put over 2 million orders on trucks. We carry 17 departments of computers, components, TVs and consumer electronics, most of it 15–60% below list price.
Where does the inventory come from?
- Overstock & closeouts — brand new, in the original sealed box. A retailer over-ordered or a model was replaced by a newer one.
- Open box — customer returns from major retailers. Our techs test every unit, verify accessories, and grade the cosmetics before it goes back on the shelf.
- Factory refurbished — repaired and re-certified by the manufacturer or an authorized facility, with a 90-day warranty minimum.
